How did they find us so fast?

Behind me, the catacombs echo with angry shouts and the screech of metal. My eyes dart to the grinning skulls lining the walls. I think I hear the voices of the dead.

Be swift, be fleet, they seem to hiss. Unless you wish to join our ranks.

“Faster, Laia,” my guide says. His armor flashes as he hastens ahead of me through the catacombs. “We’ll lose them if we’re quick. I know an escape tunnel that leads out of the city. Once we’re there, we’re safe.”

  1. How do you do this?! My idea of coordination is “If its black, they can’t b*tch, right?” LOL!
….and I don’t wear earrings. I have one purse. And heels are tools of the devil, at least on my feet.

I’m just going to admire the pretties and walk away now, in envy.

  2. Yeah, very nice coordination with the cover and the colors! I would never think putting blue and yellow together would come out looking so nice!
When you read, do you match your book? I’m just curious. (It would be cute if you did)

  3. As always, your creations are on fire! 🔥 This is so gorgeous! I haven’t even read the first book in this series (though I have a NetGalley excerpt from forever ago) but I’m super sad that they continued with the paperback cover instead of the original. I thought that one was so much better

  4. Loveeeee that sweater!!!! Love the color match up of blue and yellow! I could see myself in an outfit like this minus the earrings. I have piercings but I’ve sorta stopped with the earrings. 😂

  5. I’m actually currently reading this book so it was great seeing you post a Book Look for ity! I really love that sweater; it’s definitely the kind of thing I’d wear every day if I could, and also those shoes are gorgeous.
I really love this outfit, the colours work really well together! 😀

  6. This is such a fun idea! I love the look, it seems really nice! Something I could see myself wearing, except I’m not really a heels kind of girl 🙂 But I can still look at it and wish I could wear them, right? And of course I’m excited about the book as well 🙂
